Its All About the Athletes
|
Seminole County welcomes any new athletes to our program. No matter what your ability level, you can benefit from Special Olympics. And no matter what your interest, there is a sport for you. The best part is that everything is absolutely FREE! Each athlete participates in eight weeks of training conducted by talented volunteer coaches prior to three levels of competition: County Games, Area Games, and States Games.
Please see the Calendar for competition dates or visit the Sports section for more details on sports offered.
To be eligible for Special Olympics: an individual must be at least 8 years of age to compete, but can train at age 6. They must be identified by an agency or professional as having an intellectual disability and submit our Registration Packet.
